- Odorless, colorless to pale blue, and clear solution in a colorless transparent vial for injection

of intravenous nutrition

Use according to doctor’s prescription, however, determinations of serum level of the various trace elements are suggested as a guideline for adjusting the dosage.

Metabolically stable patients to which parenteral nutrition was administered 2.5 - 4 mg per day 0.5 - 1.5 mg per day 0.15 - 0.8mg per day 10 - 15 μg per day 20 - 40 μg per day Pediatric patient - 5 years old or younger: 100 μg per kg of body weight per day 20 μg per kg of body weight per day 3 μg per kg of body weight per day 0.14 - 0.20 μg per kg of body weight per day 3 μg per kg of body weight per day Others - Patients who are metabolically stable but have lost succus entericus: 12.2 mg/L (equivalent to loss of succus entericus) or 17.1 mg/kg (fecal amount) additionally
- Patients in acute catabolic state: 4.5 - 6 mg per dayPatients who are metabolically stable but have lost succus entericus: 20 μg per day Deficiency caused by the long-term TPN (total parenteral nutrition): 100 μg per day can be used for 24 - 31 days

method - Injected intravenously for 15 minutes.
